What this site is
HamptaPass.in publishes a detailed guide to the Hampta Pass Trek, covering route, distance, altitude, weather, difficulty, permits, packing and seasonal timing, and connects trekkers who want to book a guided departure with current package information. It is built and maintained as a focused resource on this one trek, rather than a general travel directory.
How we research this guide
Figures like distance, altitude and timings vary across official sources, maps and different operators' own guides. Where sources disagree, we say so and give a range rather than inventing false precision. We also check real, publicly shared trekker experiences against operator-published information, so the advice here reflects what the trek is actually like, not only what a brochure says.
What we do not do
We do not publish invented reviews, fabricated certifications, guaranteed weather or trail conditions, or made-up customer numbers. Package prices on this site are shown as indicative until confirmed in writing for your specific date. Where a figure or policy is not yet confirmed, we say so rather than presenting a guess as fact.
